LAMINATION

 

The LCP Lamination series are high capacity spraying machines which can be installed in process lines/stamping press where the application of lubricants on flat metal products is required. LCP units are able to deposit a film of lubricant in g/m² proportionally to production speed and up to 1000 m/min.

 

To date, machines have been designed and built for sheet and coils in the range of 400 to 4000 mm width. They consist of a specially designed rugged steel frame assembly in which the two extractable spray heads are inserted.

 

Positioned in-line with the process, the unit has a conveyor with rubber rollers as well as a pair of dedicated guide rollers. The extractable spray heads are composed of a series of modular 200 mm manifolds assemblies which are grouped together according to machine size.

 

Each collector is composed of 4 LVLP (Low volume low pressure) spraying nozzles operated by solenoid valves and fed by multiple dosing pumps utilising brushless motors to control speed of rotation.

Each manifold is equipped with a common duct for air atomization as well as a temperature maintenance system with a relative control probe.

The removal of the spray heads has been developed for easy interchangeability when using multiple types of lubricants and to avoid any kind of contamination between them.

The lubricant tank has 30 litre capacity and provides a visual oil level control and a minimum level signal. The recovery system has a 100 micron filter.

 

If using multiple types of lubricants, the system can be supplied with additional tanks.

In this case, as with the spray heads, the system is completely modular.

 

All LCP Lamination series machines are equipped with a suction system to manage oil mist and avoid environmental contamination.

 

Management of all parameters of the lubrication machine is controlled with a programmable logic system(PLC)  and an 8” touch screen operator interface.

 

Adjustable parameters from the keyboard are:

 

• Quantity of lubricant applied in g/m² on both sides of the sheet

• Activation of the nozzles in bands from 100 mm

• Constant control of lubricant temperature

• Suction system management is stored with an alpha-numeric code.

• Fault alarm
